Welcome to Healthy Karma!
Hello Classmates! Two weeks have flown by quick, and I am enjoying the blogging experience. I hope you enjoy my blogs as much as I have enjoyed yours!
I am Amy Karena Rhum as in (Rum) and I am 39 years young! I have been with Kaplan University for a year now and will graduate in 2012 with a Bachelors in Science "Health and Wellness". I would like to put my degree towards becoming a Registered Dietician where I can help people who are unhealthy, get healthy! I was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease in August this year and have been struggling with what I can eat without being in pain. I am studying what I can about the disease and will be getting help from a Dietician as well.

Unit 2 : Relaxation Exercise
I enjoyed the relaxation exercise from the back ground music to almost falling into a coma! I can say the music with the low chimes and waterfall background, made things easy and comfortable for me to relax, because with out it, I don't think I would be able to concentrate. My body at times felt like it was going into a coma and when I was concentrating on a special person in my life, I thought of my Grandmother who passed away many years ago. It was then, when I became emotional and remembered all the good times I had with her. I miss her!
